From Resilience to Impact: Shawna’s Work in Action
At CraftWork, some members inspire us simply by showing up and sharing their energy with the community. Shawna Majerus is one of those members. She has faced more than most - a six-time cancer survivor and parent of a child who battled leukemia - yet she has transformed life’s toughest challenges into a heartfelt mission: helping others rise, realign, and reclaim their power. When you see the path she’s walked and the strength she has become, how could you not admire her?
Shawna Majerus told us that when she joined CraftWork Healdsburg, she immediately discovered more than just a workspace - she found a community. “Rubbing shoulders with other successful, focused local members makes my future feel bright,” she says. While her home office has its challenges, here at CraftWork, sitting at her desk feels like a productivity rocketship. (And the coffee doesn’t hurt either!)
What inspires Shawna most is transformation. Whether it’s on a yoga mat, over the phone, or in front of hundreds of people, those moments when someone reconnects with who they truly are - beneath fear and noise - are sacred. Watching a client find their voice, set a boundary, or feel free again is like seeing a light switch back on. That spark is what inspired the name of her company, AHA Industries.
Her work comes from lived experience. A six-time cancer survivor and parent of a child who faced leukemia, Shawna has turned immense challenges into purpose, helping others rise, realign, and feel empowered. For her, success is freedom, courage, and making a meaningful impact - all while staying grounded, reaching for the light, and embracing a little wildness every day. Currently, Shawna leads the Dream Coalition, is writing a book on her RISE Method, and is preparing transformative retreats and keynote presentations - all designed to help people turn life’s challenges into their greatest strengths.
At CraftWork, we love seeing members like Shawna thrive, grow, and inspire everyone around them - a reminder that community can turn focus and energy into something magical.
