Valentine’s Day at CraftWork: A Night with Fred Astaire Dance

For those who work here, CraftWork might look like just another coworking space. Desks, good light, reliable Wi-Fi. A place to get things done.

But to us, it’s never been just a coworking space. CraftWork is a framework - a base layer. A medium. The walls, the desks, or even the coffee don’t make it meaningful. What gives it life are the people. The conversations. The risks our members take. A coworking space isn’t inherently “good” or… “great”. Its value comes from the ideas, collaborations, and energy that fill it. We’ve always believed that we’re only as good as our members, as thoughtful as our partners, as alive as the energy they bring through the doors.

Last Friday, that energy came from an entirely new current - we teamed up with Fred Astaire Healdsburg for a Valentine’s Day evening of dance (and wine from Stuhlmuller Vineyards!), and suddenly the space shifted - the air changed, the rhythm carried through the room. Fred Astaire Dance is the newest player in town - and honestly, it’s about time. Dancing isn’t just fun, it’s transformative. (Full disclosure: the writer of this post met her husband at a ballroom dancing event, so yes - it could be life-defining too!)

Healdsburg now has its very own dance studio, with their new space opening up soon just steps from CraftWork, bringing movement, rhythm, and a whole new kind of energy to downtown. We couldn’t be more excited to see what they’ll bring to the community. We’re wishing them all the luck in the world - and, as always, sharing that luck with all of our partners. The more energy in town, the better: more events, more wine nights, more collaborations, more reasons for people to gather, connect, and create - because all of this makes a strong, vibrant community. Dancing events, comedy nights, and who knows what else - we’re here for all of it.

Next up at CraftWork: Healdsburg After Dark on February 27th. No dancing this time - this night is all about laughing. Grab a ticket, bring a friend, and join us for an evening of joy, connection, and local talent.
