Dogs @ CraftWork? Woof!

Based on member requests, CraftWork is now allowing dogs to bring their owners to our shared workspace.  In order to keep this safe, orderly and avoid disruptions to other members’ work routine, we have established a few necessary policies. If you would like to bring you dog to CraftWork here’s what you need to do in ADVANCE and on the days your friend comes with you:

IN ADVANCE

  • Doggy paperwork: Please provide information on your dog (size, breed, personality) as well as verification of vaccinations/licenses using the form here

  • To keep this manageable, please notify us of which days you would like to bring you dog. During the trial we are limiting four legged guests to Tuesdays and Fridays, and a total of five dogs at any time (not including in offices).

ON YOUR DOG DAY

First, some dogs just aren’t cut out for the office world.  You know your dogs better than we do, so if you don’t think this will be their thing, please don’t bring them. But if they are down with being a part of CraftWork, on the days you do bring them be prepared to:

  • Ensure they are wearing their legally required tags with the owners contact info.

  • Dogs must be insect and parasite-free

  • Be sure they are well groomed to avoid excessive shedding (and smell)

  • Bring a leash and keep your dog connected while at your desk

  • Feel free to bring a doggie bed or other comforts

  • Take responsibility to avoid ‘accidents’. If one happens, clean up immediately

  • Do not leave your dog unattended

  • Assume responsibility to repair and pay for any damage your dog might cause

Disclaimer: CraftWork reserves the right to terminate this trial at anytime if it is determined Dog Days is  too disruptive to our community culture.  We reserve the right to ask owners to remove dogs that are overly aggressive, create damage or cannot refrain from barking.  In the rare instance where we like the dog but maybe not the member, we will have to come up with a new rule.
