David Tett

David Tett is a sixth-generation Southern African, born and raised in Zimbabwe, After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology, with a major in Microbiology and DNA technology at the University of Cape Town, he backpacked through Asia and Australia before starting Bushtracks Expeditions in 1989. David has been traveling extensively throughout Africa for more than 40 years. Apart from the safari countries of East and Southern Africa, David has explored remote places in Algeria, Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Côte d'Ivoire, Egypt, Ethiopia , Gabon, Ghana, Mali, Morocco, Niger, Principe and Sao Tome, Rwanda, Uganda, Sudan, and Tunisia. He combines his interest in aviation, wildlife, ecology, and the people of Africa to develop innovative, educational safaris and unusual experiences.
