Africa is a giant continent, the size of the US, China, India, Japan, and Europe combined. This huge land mass includes an extraordinary array of ecosystems. Journey with us as David Tett reveals the story of the “five brothers”, lions that fight to survive in the harsh landscape of the oldest desert in the world, the Namib. Then travel to remote rainforests in the Congo and Central Africa and discover a lush, contrasting habitat that’s home to lowland gorillas, chimps, pink forest elephants, and hunter-gatherers called the BaAka. The Arctic is a destination like no other. Join us as adventurer and landscape photographer, David Hargreaves, shares a collection of unforgettable images of the landscapes, seascapes, icescapes, and wildlife from Greenland, Iceland and Norway, well beyond the Arctic Circle. How do you effectively capture the vast expanses and dramatic scenery of this remote, rugged place in pictures? David will share some tips and also discuss the impact he’s seen climate change is having on the area.
