Jennifer and Mike Lucas
Jennifer and Mike Lucas started their design firm, Lucas & Lucas in 2005. They met in graduate school in Southern California, he was in the Landscape Architecture department, she was in the Architecture Department. What started as a dream of marrying these two fields, grew into the ethos of the work they create today. All their designs start with place, the specific land inhabited by their projects and move into the vision of the principals in close dialog with their clients. Their projects bring together varied and holistic experience and well honed architectural and landscape oriented skill sets to create complete sophisticated indoor-outdoor environments. Their diverse backgrounds, iterative process and equal dedication to structure and context have enabled them to produce a portfolio of work that is a true marriage of architecture and landscape.
