Introducing Converge: Meetings and Events in Downtown Healdsburg
As CraftWork has grown, something predictable happened: people started asking if they could use the place for things other than work. Meetings. Offsites. Workshops. Parties. Apparently, sometimes a good workspace is simply a good place to gather. So we launched Converge, a meeting and event space inside our brick-and-timber workspace in downtown Healdsburg. It’s about an hour from San Francisco and a short walk from the restaurants, bars, and other reasons people come to Healdsburg in the first place.
Converge is designed for teams that have had enough of the conference room. There are board meetings, corporate offsites, strategic-planning sessions, team-building days, training, and design workshops. Eight people can sit around the original vault door; forty can gather for a presentation in the Workshop. There are private rooms, a catering kitchen, and furniture that can be moved around without anyone having to submit a request to Facilities. You can write on the walls. The Wi-Fi is fast. AV is included. There are no food, beverage, or room minimums. And parking downtown is free, which in California qualifies as a small miracle.
The space is also available for celebrations, including holiday parties. For the evening, you can have the fireplace lounge, vault, and patio to yourselves. Bring your own wine—there’s no corkage—and cater however you like, from a food truck on the patio to a proper plated dinner. Holiday bookings made before October 31st are 10% off.
We’ve also tried to make the practical part unusually practical. Every space and rate is listed on the Converge website, with no form to fill out just to find out what something costs. You can even take a 3D walk through the vault, Workshop, lounge, and patio before booking.
